Erster Schnee in Wien heute.
Aber wie könnte es anders sein, ein paar Stunden später wie Gatsch-gestapfe.
last week i was in athens for a parnter meeting (for work) for 3 nights for doing a video, that has not been done.
never been there before …
some impressions …
this was the view from my 2* hotel room (first floor). the sound of the air-condition-system gave me sleepless nights.
and acutally i wasn’t sure if i checked in at a hotel that charges by hour, because above my bed was a blue neonlamp and on the other side two big mirrors.

this was outside of my window (on the floor)

but it wasn’t that dubious - never heard strange things - and at the breakfast i also saw some couples and serious people. breakfast consisted of marmelade, butter and sesam-bagel and some chocolate-cake. ah- the name “hotel alma” (near omonia square) … the area around omonia isn’t that nice too….
on my last day i found a cockroach in the shower-curtain…
strange city - never found a nice place- nice cafe …. the only “nice” place was downtown(plaka) - where i payed 4,50€ for a cappuccino … lots lots of cars - where do they go? athens must be really horrible in summer, if it got 40degrees / lots of cars and air-condition-systems

one “nice” place / great view / was hotel president. at the poolbar on the 21th floor, where i payed 5,70€ for a big heineken. mmmhhh lecker.

one more thing about athens - there are many unemployed dogs. most of them are amicable ….
but right after taking that photo (please insert mobilephones here!) i was nearly attacked by a crowd of those dogs.

i do not like dogs.
one night i descided to have a nice walk on the seaside - went to Piraeus and went home after walking around there in the ferry harbour and the streets around there. didn’t find a place to eat. very narrow streets, cars, and strange shops- and some junkfood-booths.
one positive thing to say: nearly all pavements got identification mark for blind people.
