the webcam thing really sucks….always flicker-effects and unstable colors….
think i need to get some kind of DV-cam….

i always wanted to know what i’m doing allnightlong while sleeping…

so i installed a webcam above my bed and wrote a jitter patch that just records if i roll or move.

the first night in this setup was very strange.
everytime i woke up rolling and turning i knew that i’m beeing recorded right now (i wasn’t really a wake, but somehow felt it). knowing this with every turn, put me into a state of kinetophobia (fear of movment). so in the morning i lay in bed with closed eyes not moving waiting for ?mhh.

watching the video after getting up was a bit of surprise. i really did a lot of turnings and strange movments. e.g.rubbing my nose.

the second night was not that terrifying lying and sleeping under a camera. but big brother thoughts came.

last night did the 4th try of recording my not-sleeping moments at night. sleeping infront of a camera doesn’t bother me anymore, just feel a bit watched… but the patch or the camera don’t work as the should because everyday the noiselevel differs…mhhh

hope i will not get paranoide with this experiment…
